Fridge, Conservation Chamber ...

For organic apples, raspberries and cherries: no storage the fruits are consumed or squeezed quickly. In addition organic products are damaged more quickly and therefore should not be stored. Storage is also divided into different parts:

  • Fridges: for the part of the production intended to be marketed quickly.
  • Apple ULOs: storage at 3-4ºC
  • Pear ULOs: storage at -1ºC

ULO Ultra Low Oxygen: Chamber of conservation “waterproof” to stop the respiration and maturation of the fruit. Reduction of oxygen% to slow the breathing and reduction of% ethylene to slow the maturation.
